Afternoon: Take a day trip to Gobustan National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site located about 64 km southwest of Baku. This site is famous for its ancient rock carvings, mud volcanoes, and musical stones. The Gobustan Rock Art Cultural Landscape features more than 6,000 rock engravings dating back 5,000-20,000 years, depicting scenes of hunting, dancing, and daily life of prehistoric people. The petroglyphs provide a fascinating glimpse into the lives of the ancient inhabitants of the region. The park also includes the remains of inhabited caves, settlements, and burial sites, reflecting the continuous human presence from the Upper Palaeolithic to the Middle Ages
