DAY 1

MASADA & DEAD SEA

This tour offers a blend of historical exploration and unique natural experiences, providing a memorable day trip from Tel Aviv.

Pick Up: Travel by bus from Tel Aviv to the Judean Hills and the shores of the Dead Sea.

  • Masada:
    • Cable Car Ride: Ascend to the ancient fortified palace of Masada, perched on a high plateau.
    • Historical Significance: Learn about the Zealots' stand against the Romans and their mass suicide in 73 AD.
    • Explore the Ruins: Visit the remains of King Herod's fortress, including mosaic floors, Roman baths, and the oldest synagogue in Israel.

DAY 5

OLD CITY OF JERUSALEM

AMMAN & PETRA

  • Petra
    • Siq: Walk through the narrow, winding gorge known as the Siq, which serves as the main entrance to Petra.
    • Treasury (al-Khazneh): Marvel at the iconic Treasury, believed to have been a mausoleum or treasury for the Nabatean king.
    • Monastery (Ad Deir): Continue to the Monastery, one of Petra's largest monuments, offering stunning views of the surrounding area.
    • Altar of Sacrifice: Visit the Altar of Sacrifice, where ancient rituals were performed.

Transfer to Wadi Rum: In the afternoon, travel to Wadi Rum, a desert landscape known for its dramatic sandstone mountains and red sand dunes. Spend the night in a traditional Bedouin camp, enjoying a delicious dinner and engaging in night-time activities such as stargazing and cultural performances.


DAY 8

WADI RUM & DEAD SEA

  • Wadi Rum:
    • After breakfast, embark on a 4WD jeep tour of Wadi Rum, also known as the "Valley of the Moon." Explore the unique rock formations and towering cliffs that have been shaped by centuries of wind and weather.
    • Lawrence of Arabia: Learn about the area's connection to T.E. Lawrence, the British officer who fought alongside Arab forces during World War I, and the filming of the movie "Lawrence of Arabia."

Transfer to Dead Sea: Travel to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on Earth at 400 meters below sea level.

  • Experience the unique sensation of floating in the Dead Sea's mineral-rich waters, known for their therapeutic properties. The high salt concentration makes it easy to float, and the minerals are believed to have healing benefits for the skin.
